History

Early history:

​

Floating Island Studios was founded in April 2015 as Team Game Project. We experimentally started creating various types of games to find our footing and talent within the game development space.

Events:

​

Since the team was created we have participated in various GameJams as participants and volunteers, hosted our own booth in expos such as White Nights Russia, Athens Games Festival, and participated in various meetups. Generally we strive to remain active in the Game Development community and try to give back since it has given us so much.

​

Recent:

Our first foot out the door is Taco Gun, a culmination of our appreciation for Comedy and 

Co-Op games. It has been a hard project to work on, requiring we wear multiple hats at all times, but we've taken the challenge on thus far and we are very happy to be nearing the launch of our debut game!

 

Future:

After Taco Gun's release we intend to keep supporting it with new content and certainly launching on new platforms. Although it is hard to know what the future holds, whilst we develop our company and support Taco Gun, we plan to take on new challenges in the mobile marketplace as well as deep diving into storytelling through games.
